Semaglutide is a long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist (glucagon-like peptide) that is an FDA-approved prescription injectable medication used for weight management in adults. It has been found effective in helping individuals who are overweight or obese and have weight-related medical problems to lose weight and keep it off.
Tirzepatide is a single molecule that activates the body's receptors for GIP and GLP-1, which are natural incretin hormones. Both GIP and GLP-1 receptors are found in areas of the human brain important for appetite regulation. Tirzepatide has been shown to decrease food intake and modulate fat utilization.
For Semaglutide:
A study published in the International Journal of Obesity showed that patients achieved a Total Body Weight Loss of 5.7% at three, 9.7% at six , 12.7% at nine , and 13.4% at 12 months, with 22% of patients achieving weight loss of >20%.
For Tirzepatide:
Adults with obesity receiving TIrzepatide lost a mean 25.3% of body weight at 88 weeks in the SURMOUNT-4 Trial.
More than half of Tirzepatide participants lost 25% or more body weight at 88 weeks.

We offer compounded Semaglutide/Tirzepatide manufactured by FDA-monitored compounding pharmacies. These facilities undergo strict inspections, but because the compounded pharmaceuticals they produce are made according to a prescription from a specific practitioner for a particular patient, they are not FDA-approved. It might be challenging to directly compare the results and risk profiles of FDA-approved and compounded pharmaceuticals due to differences in strength, dose, and other factors. The medical judgment of a licensed clinician, based on a telemedicine interaction and medical history, determines the prescription of any compounded medication.
